Remember

A world I see in disarray,
panic fills the air.
Children in arms, mothers alarmed,
no one is without care.

Flashing lights and screaming sirens,
calls for the boarding of ships.
Quarters assigned people in lines,
but not a sound passes lips.

A heavy cloud casting gloom,
sets far as the eyes can see.
No consideration no deliberation,
an evacuation must be.

Women and children fill the ships,
the men must travel apart.
Filled with grief and disbelief,
departing holds heavy hearts.

All aboard the fleet of ships,
sorrow bids a world good by.
Shattered lives grievous wives,
frighten children try not to cry.

The course of ships, are manually set,
together they all, leave shore.
Thunder and lightening, oh so frightening,
the world deteriorates more.

Not a moment to soon, all at safe distance,
there’s a solar explosion in space.
Deterioration, obliteration,
a nation has fallen from place.

Dropping in G‘s, falling through space,
all ships, maintained, their worth.
Entering shores, through portal doors,
their home is now, called Earth.
