Conscious hip-hop, spoken word artist SCEF is a fresh of breath life that speaks and live positive energy in
words and song. Being grounded in his roots of east Texas (Newton and Jasper) SCEF often talk about his love for
the "countryside" and his family.
In 2004 SCEF released his debut CD "Hip-Hop Is Poetry". The album defines SCEF's love for hip-hop and spoken
word that can be appreciated by listeners of all ages. In March 2012 he released his sophomore project "My Life
Of Rhyme" which includes live performances with a six man jazz band. Neo-soulstress Gia, Austin poet Ebony
Stewart and hip-hop artist Ben Sent also appear on this unique project of artistry.
SCEF has performed in coffee houses, lounges, night clubs, festivals, comedy clubs, schools and universities. The
"Have mic will travel" is the attitude of a positive artist that has an appreciation for music, family and art.
